During this time, he earned his MSc in Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 1995. He started his practice at the Fayetteville Heart Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and later worked at Carolina Heart in Greenville, North Carolina, and Carolina East Cardiology.
From 2010 to 2018, Dr. Jacob worked at Eastern Carolina Cardiovascular, providing excellent patient care and taking on leadership roles. He served as Director and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Jacob also held the position of Chief of Staff at Martin General Hospital in Williamston, North Carolina, from 2019 to 2020.
